13.11.2013 Conference on the purpose of social innovation
The 'Social Innovation. New Beginning' conference is designed to show the potential of social innovation, its applicability in various areas, and most of all the benefits that investing in social innovation can yield to businesses.
Together with the conference's participants we want to explore the future of corporate social responsibility, and the possibility of a new beginning for the field, the key element of which will be social innovation in running an inclusive business.
Participants in the conference include leading organisations active in the area of social innovation, including the 'Stocznia' Unit for Research and Social Innovation (Pracownia Badań i Innowacji Społecznych Stocznia), the HUB network, the city of Bilbao and ALC, its partner organisation. They will be sharing their best practices in social innovation, suggesting methods of innovating, advising on where to seek new ideas and inspirations, how to define business benefits and community benefits, how to build strong partnerships, and how to invest in social innovation to gain a significant competitive edge.
