11.12.2008 EGM adopts employment rationalisation and severance package program
On 11 December 2008, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PGNiG SA adopted the "Employment rationalisation and severance package program for the employees of PGNiG Capital Group for years 2009-2011 (3rd stage)".
Furthermore, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PGNiG SA resolved to allocate the monies from the reserve fund named "Central Restructuring Fund for years 2005-2007" for the payment of one-time severance packages for the employees affected by the employment restructuring programme in 2008. Therefore, PLN 1.31 million were allocated from the reserve fund for the payment of severance packages, out of which:
- PLN 600 thousand were allocated for severance packages for 15 former employees of ZUN Naftomet Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Krosno,
- PLN 710 thousand were allocated for severance packages for 13 former employees of Geovita Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw.
Additionally, the EGM of PGNiG SA resolved to extend the term of the "Central Restructuring Fund for years 2005-2007" until 31 December 2011. This decision resulted from the fact that there were unallocated monies in the Fund and from the lack of need to replenish the monies.
